2015 Networking Events in Long Island, NY

A Place for Mom's "Professionals Helping Seniors" event is an exciting networking and educational events series open to any professional or business that provides a service or product to senior citizens.

Join us on July 15, 2015 in Jamaica Hills with presenter Dr. Lauren Shaiova, MD for an overview of when hospice care is appropriate for your geriatric clientele.

In New York State, the median length of stay on Hospice is 9-17 days, and Hospice is intended as a benefit for patients during the final six months of life. This presentation will familiarize Nurse Case Managers, Hospital Discharge Planners and Medical Social Workers with the criteria for making a timely referral to Hospice, allowing patients and their loved ones to take full advantage of these comprehensive and compassionate services.

If you help improve the lives of seniors, you are welcome. There is no charge to attend this event.
