Very negative experience with The Auberge. They went to contract company for caregivers, and there is turnover and no accountability. They abuse the residents and extremely cruel.

Would Not Recommend
The Auberge started off okay then went to hell in a handbasket within the first month. Employees quit. Laundry wasn't done. Personal items stolen from my mother's room constantly. I wouldn't recommend the Auberge to babysit my dog. We took my mother out after 2 months & moved her to a much better facility. Auberge only deserves a horrible rating.

A Very Good Place
I would recommend you visit the community and see if it would be the right fit for your loved one. The community is very nice and has a nice atmosphere. They are friendly here and it is clean with no smell.
The staff communication is very good with the family. They are responsive to the family's questions and concerns. There are snacks as well.
There is a set menu each week for the residents to see what will be served. There are three meals provided a day to the residents.

Find another memory care facility for your loved
one!!! Dementia patients need care and that need
escalates with time. This facility does not

manner - starting with the Sr. Exec. Dir. Falls are commonplace in this facility. And, there is
absolutely no true on-site nursing either so serious
issues may go undetected. Cleanliness is not a
priority - for the residents personally or their rooms.
And the price increases at management's
discretion so you will be paying more here than a
skilled nursing facility costs within a few months. I
never slept a wink with my loved one in this place.

Great Experience
I think this community was a really good fit for my loved one. If your loved one needs memory care, this is a very good place. My loved one feels free to roam around the community, and it feels more like a home.

My opinion of The Auberge
We chose this facility because they had availability when we needed i and the staff members were very nice and attentive. The room sizes here are pretty good. In the beginning it was really good, but by the end it declined some. On the website it says they specialize with combative dementia, but it didn't seem like that. I also told them I did not want him going to the hospital without my consent since covid was going on, they took him without my consent and then when he came back he had to quarantine for 2 weeks with 24 hour care that we would have to pay for.

The best possible
My husband lived at Silverado for sixteen months at the end of his twelve years with Parkinson’s Disease. From his emergency admission to the minute that the staff stood at attention as his body left the building, he received the best possible care. The staff works hard to keep the residents engaged and active even as their sickness advances, with field trips and outings as well as activities on site. They pay attention to details. Everyone who works at Silverado—even those whose job descriptions don’t involve direct care—takes the time to smile, to hug, to say a cheery word. It’s not perfect, because it’s run by people, but they try to respond to problems in a timely way, and they do a good job of anticipating residents’ needs. It’s hard for me to admit, but my husband got much better care than I could have provided at home even if I had the money for full-time live-in care. And they cared for me, too, with hugs and meals and support groups.
The people at Silverado made the hardest time of my life less difficult, and I will always be grateful.

Disconnect with nursing
We toured many places and finally decided on Silverado, manly due to the Manager and front desk staff, very friwndly, loving and educated on dementia. mom has lived here about 4 months, the food is great, activities are amazing and caregivers try so hard dealing with this population, I will say there is an overall lack of care from the DON, my calls have never been returned and when i do get a reply its via email! She seems to busy in her office to see about the residents or families. I will say when I finally spoke to the manager about the concerns i had she promptly addressed them and they are corrected now, she answers our calls at night and the weekend. She inforned us she would address the lack of communication from nursing but I still end up going to her because nothing gets done if i dont Overall mom is happy so we are happy but for the money nursing from top down needs some help.

We had our hopes to high for this facility
Facility looks nice, but do not judge this place by its cover. You will notice a lot of staff wandering around but no one really knows what is going on. Overall communication within the facility and with family is terrible. Billing errors, scheduling of appointment errors, administration of medicine errors, and a general lack of concern to fix these errors plague this facility. Our family member would go days to a week without a bath, shower, teeth being brushed, urinals being emptied, or some bedding changed. Even after bringing it to the attention of the administration's attention several times, nothing was never fixed or communicated back down the chain of command. Ultimately, we gave Silverado a little over a month to get there act together. We tried to work with them. We visited our family member 3-5 days a week the whole time they lived there (5 1/2 months). They replied with trying to raise the monthly rate over $3000.00. We gave our notice and moved.

We toured this community
We went on a tour here and it was nice and clean. We loved it and they answered all of our questions. It was a locked facility. Cause dad wanders around. The staff was friendly. This isn't a skilled nursing community so we have to factor that in.

Overnight Respite
My mother, [Removed], said she didn't like her overnight respite but I believe she was well taken care of. Her house slippers and suit case ID tag disappeared. I thought Silverado was going to make an assessment of my mother while she was there. I called on 7-14-17 to inquire the price of residency but never received a response.

Everybody Is Top Notch
My mother seems to enjoy this community and everything seems to be going very well. The community is clean and very nice. The staff has been good and caring for her well. They have been very helpful and kind. The staff here is top notches. She went bowling and she has never really been a bowler. They do offer nice activities. They are feeding her well, she really enjoys the food. Overall I would recommend it.
