The family owners declined my sister because they were having a problem with 3 residents who sneak out to smoke cigarettes!!! My sister paid the price for this!! She had not smoked since her stroke in November. She has been in another assisted living place for 2 months now and does NOT smoke!!!! Shame on these owners!!!Reviewed on A Place For Mom
They caused my grandfather to become severely ill while he was a resident in their care. He eventually developed pneumonia and was seriously dehydrated before medical attention was sought. When we contacted the Director of Nursing with our concerns, she hung up on us. She also hung up on the nurse from the hospital where my grandpa was taken. Do not let your loved ones stay here. They are not equipped to handle more fragile elderly people, especially those with memory care issues.Reviewed on A Place For Mom
Rockport has continually exceeded all of our expectations. They really do make the community feel like a family and they seem to genuine care for their residents!
