The housekeeping is good. The move in process was smooth. The meals have improved in variety, healthfulness and portion size. I would like to see more field trips to points of interest in the area. The staff is friendly and helpful. The other residents are friendly. I like it here.

pros and cons, overall satisfied but food needs improvement
The facility is newly remodeled which has been very nice.
The food that they offer to residents is not great... they also give very small portion sizes.
Based off of our experience so far, we would recommend Parkside Court to friends and family.

Lots to do at a reasonable cost!
We were treated with great respect. The sales manager worked with us diligently to find a good trial for my parents. Dad loves it there. He signs up for every activity and stays stimulated. Mom loves to just sit and read so that's mostly what she does. She loves not having to fix any meals or clean up after. The only complaint either have had is that the food is not very good. Parkside is one of only 2 that offer outside patios and that was a deciding factor. Also they are more affordable than most.

Mom has been happy with her apartment, and the staff and residents are friendly. Hoping new management will hire enough staff for dining and improving meal options. I think the cost is affordable.

Wonderful place to live; quiet, comfortable, with lots of activities for all who want to participate.
I simply have no complaints. Much of my life has been extremely stressful for last year, but my lifestyle at Parkside makes me much more comfortable. We would recommend this community to other families and actually I have a friend moving in here soon.

Like living on a cruise ship
The staff seems wonderful at this facility and my loved one is very happy here! I will mention, for my tour I purposely came through the back door- unannounced- just to get a feel for how they would handle something like that and if they would notice. It only took about 25 seconds for someone to notice me/greet me and ask who I was and if they could help me with something. That said a lot to me and is exactly what I was hoping for. Housekeeping is once a week and it's been good. My loved one has had no complaints and she's pretty picky. They offer a good variety of activities and also transportation. Some of the things that they promised aren't coming through, but that is due to Covid and they're trying to get those things going again so I understand. This facility has definitely measured up to our expectations, they even connected us to a resource that can help with obtaining Veteran benefits. I would recommend this facility to family and friends. It really is like living on a cruise ship!

Amazing
My sisters and I were trying to figure out the best place for our mom. She’s a fall risk and unable to live alone. We were so overwhelmed by this news and didn’t know where/how to start the assisted living process. A was so informative and friendly we felt at ease immediately! She made sure to answer all of our questions and was super sweet. Chef A prepared us some delicious cookies too. Very impressed with Parkside and mom will be moving there soon. Thanks

My grandparents loved Parkside Court. They loved the environment and the many amenities. The staff there, including but not limited to, [name removed] and [name removed], are very welcoming and do such a wonderful job making residents feel comfortable . Parkside Court is great!
I have lived at Parkside court since [date removed]. I have found it to be a wonderful place to retire. Many, many activities are provided and enjoyed by us. Three meals a day are served, with a variety of selections to choose from. Our rooms are beautiful and are cleaned once a week. Parkside has a great bus that takes us whever we need or want to go. The housekeeping staff do a wonderful job. The staff at Parkside is so friendly and has helped me so much that I can't possibly relate all they have done. I have enjoyed living here so much that I would recommend it to anyone!

My mother needed to l move out of her house. She lives alone. She was VERY resistant to moving anywhere. The staff and especially [name removed] were wonderful in making her feel comfortable.

Looking for a Home
Over three years ago I was diagnosed with vascular and FTD dementia, and I’ve been looking for a place to call home. I’ve tried living with other people, including my POA, but nothing would satisfy me and give me that independent feeling along with having somebody around to help until I found PARKSIDE COURT. The staff here is so helpful and courteous. The facility needs a little touch up that is still in good condition. I love living here.

Just a couple of weeks ago - met with staff- researching a retirement community for my mother in law - which by the way is totally against it - because she thinks it would be a nursing home - The staff took me on a tour of the facility- every aspect- from meal time dining to tours of different apartments- very impressed- I think I was ready to move in ….. After a couple of conversations with my mother in law- She decided to visit- after touring the facility and speaking with many of the staff members- she was definitely impressed with what Parkside has to offer - She has not made a decision yet - the facility and staff definitely gave her something to ponder.

Wonderful
Parkside Court went above and beyond to help me with a friend and now current resident. [name removed] went out of her way to make her feel comfortable and welcomed. Chef [name removed] made her a wonderful cherry pie and has checked on her daily. Parkside Court not what it was in 2015
Toured and selected Parkside Court in May 2015. Made the decision based on quality of caring staff, on site resident managers available 24 x 7.
Fast forward to 2017. No longer have on site resident managers, replaced them with a life alert system. No on site security personnel. And they raised the rent for less service.
Food has deteriorated with new small portions. My dad has lost over 10 lbs and unacceptable to his doctor.
Parkside Court was a top facility at time of selection in 2015. Now ownership is managing the bottom line and sacrificing the care for my dad. I would not select this facility based on change in the offer.

They offer a lot of activities!!
This community just did not work for us at it is for more independent living and we needed assisted living. They do have a requirement that you have to be in the dining room at a certain time if you would like to eat there. They offer transportation of needed. We had good communication with the helpful staff. The community is clean and I would recommend it.
