Beautiful and modern!
It is a brand new facility, it is gorgeous and has all new appliances. It is a little on the higher side but our loved ones apartment is beautiful and modern and fully appointed. He has a very nice floor plan with almost a separate room for an office, and he was even able to put a small grand piano in the room. We have been very happy, it is clean and the staff members are very good. There are no meals here, but the activities surprisingly have been very good given this part year. We are able to do a lot of things now which are great, and our favorite thing is bingo on Monday's. The only small complaint would have to be the location. The area is a little difficult and the gates going into the parking lot are really slow so almost to cars can come in behind you. We have not had a direct safety issue but it is a small complaint among the residents.

My overall experience
Things are not they way they used to be because of COVID, but everyone is doing the best they can. At the moment we still are on somewhat of a lock down. Before COVID they had church services, bingo, porker and even had line dancing. I mostly cook for myself, or order out. If this community does provide food for us, its typically catered in. I like the apartment i am in now, but unfortunately they were not able to do the walk through with me. I do wish there was more consistency when you would move from one apartment to the other.

[name removed] the maintenance man is so helpful. The sales girls are so helpful.
The lady in charge promises, and some people complain about not getting their items.
There was an issue with my electric bill, and they are trying to work on the bill for me to get it fixed. This is the only complaint in 13 months.
The lady who does the recreation is very timid, but she comes up with some great ideas. I've not met anyone who is nasty.
I love the people, I have met people from Aruba, California, and even New York and Paris and Indonsia.
I joined two book clubs, prior to COVID there was a happy hour on Tuesdays. They even have a swimming pool for some other activities. There is a gym on-site as well, and it was a plus for me. Once a week we have line dancing and crafts. They even play movies and they have spaced the chairs apart for the community to be able to watch movies. There is a drama group you can join as well.
I have a balcony that looks over the pool and recreation area. I have even decorated my balcony and it is beautiful here.
I only have to walk about a half block to the grocery store, and there are restaurants, shopping centers, and shipping centers near me. It is an awesome place and it is brand new and super clean.

Overture Buckhead South 55+ Apartment Homes
A brand new community, it is beautiful and clean! One of the staff can be a little sarcastic, however the rest of the staff is good. The sales staff is fantastic; very polite, kind, and thoughtful. The cleaning staff is awesome and they do the job well. They are planning on opening the drama club soon. There are some services provided including a breakfast bar, which is pleasant. Although a bit expensive, it is a good value. I enjoy the people here a lot and that is a huge reason why I chose Overture Buckhead South.

Beautiful, new building, well-planned apartments. Even the smallest has LOADS of storage spaces! Only the BR has carpet--good! Has a bus. Residents seem active. Cool paint colors. Good activity areas. Parking garage next door. Served by MARTA Mobility & train. Two negatives: heavy traffic in area & meager library.

Brand new and upscale
This is a brand new facility and my Mother really likes it here. If she needs anything or has complaints, the management deals with it immediately. The staff members are really nice and it’s a very upscale environment. For activities, they offer things like happy hour, parties, and a lot of social gatherings. I would recommend this facility to other people.

Beautiful facility and very nice, new apartments - many floor plans to choose from to meet needs/requirements. Potential active community with many amenities however only small percentage of residents at this point. Not the best location for affordable views, parking for visitors and green space to walk. Floor plan I prefer either faces parking garage or very pricey on street side or pool side. May be out of budget as have to pay all bills a la carte and desirable locations have $500 premiums.
