It has been an incredible relief to have found North Woods Village at Edison Lakes. The staff has been very kind to Mom and that has given us all great peace of mind. They stop to give a hug, say something nice, spend a few minutes here or there sitting with her and treating her like the living and feeling being that she is. The residents are often very fragile in one way or another-memory loss can be so cruel. Having staff trained specifically to meet these people where they are is so important.\nA second extremely important factor for us is cleanliness. We need Mom to be in a clean, fresh, uplifting place. Her housekeeping staff member is one of the warmest people I know, truly cares about the residents, and has cleanliness standards that reflect her genuine care for their well being.\nThe staff has been welcoming, available, approachable.
