I have limited experience, but do have some idea of how things should be from past experience with a loved one in a facility. It's very affordable. It's a good place to economize. Residents have their own room/bathroom and only share the shower area. It's a small community and everyone knows everyone by name. The staff is super and they love my uncle. His cognitive state is pretty severe, he struggles with his memory a lot. But he's even said that they take great care of him here. He was resistant to the idea of moving to a facility in the first place, so for him to say/know that says a lot to us. It's in a great location for us, in a central part of town and close to home. They constantly have things going on for families to be involved in. They're having a Thanksgiving lunch for residents and their families next week. It's a modern facility and they have great urgent medical care available downstairs also, if needed. They have a barbershop on site. The management is absolutely great. From the beginning, both the admin/social worker and the supervisor [names removed] were so helpful. They were patient and guided us through the whole process and answered all of our questions. Again, my uncle struggles cognitively, but he's safe, happy, and comfortable here. Not only does it show, but he's expressed this to us more than once. During visits, you tend to hear other residents talk and sometimes even chat with them. I've never heard any of them have anything negative to say about this facility or the staff. We've been very pleasantly surprised with the whole operation. I would absolutely recommend them to friends and family.
