They are friendly but they are short on staff. The food that is served to the residents needs to be a lot healthier. The room sizes here are just fine.
We moved my loved one out of the facility recently due to these issues.

A great second home
Copley Place made us feel the most comfortable having our loved one here and the least sales-like and it is affordable. Even though it is independent living they have a 3rd party group of ladies that are there almost 24/7 to assist your loved one. We really appreciate that they would communicate with us not only when something "bad" happens but even communicates with us all the positive things our loved one is doing. They have a ton of activities - they would do karaoke, they would have get togethers, poetry and adult coloring. Our loved one did not each much of the meals but from what we saw the food looked really good. The value was great and we would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

No Longer Anxious About The Safety Of Parent
The maintenance team doesn't always greet you in a friendliest manner.
The chairs in the dining room have wheels on the legs, it would be nice to have the wheels removed to prevent potential falls of the residents. The food is good though. It would be nice if the residents had a chance to suggest different meal options to the chef or community.
The community hired a new activities director recently. I'm hopeful the activities will improve since there is a new director.

Copley Place is a Good Place to Live
For the most part, it's been okay. I had an issue with them because the staff members don't always give you the same answers, especially related to move-in procedures and costs. So that left me feeling like they tell you anything to get you to move in, but those things might not be the case once you do move. in. They did work with me to resolve the issue. It's a pretty nice place and a really good atmosphere, not completely depressing like other places I've seen. And I appreciate that.

Finding a New Home Can Be Easy
It was a very friendly community and has lot of opportunity for communication and interaction. The staff know everyone and greet everyone.
Our experience has been during the pandemic. The activities have been limited due to COVID.

Great Place to Live
The place is great, we've been super happy with it. We really like the people. They're all very nice and accommodating. The facility is very nice, the rooms and the setting in general. I would absolutely recommend this community.

Wishes
I think it’s great that there have been no cases of the virus at our facility. They seem to follow cdc guidelines, as far as I am aware of. One complaint - some residents and staff don’t wear masks properly- like below the nose - and they are not corrected. One gentleman often sits in the cafe area, mask always below the nose. What good is that doing?? I wish there were more activities or more encouragement to join in what activities we do have.

Newer and nicer
While looking into various options for my mother, I noticed that this location is newer and nicer. However it just didn’t have the vibe that I would like my mother to be in. Some things were not covered compared to other locations; however it’s not enough to say that I don’t like it. This location unfortunately, was just not the best fit for my mother.

Does not compare
My mother moved from Copley Place to Brookdale Montrose down the road and what a difference in experiences. Not that Copley was bad, it was okay for what we paid. We just didn't realize how much better it could be. The food needs a lot of work at Copley and the Customer Service too.

Fits him well!!
Since my father in law moved into this community, things have been going well. He is comfortable in his apartment, he likes the food, and it is in a good location. The people there are very nice. He has not joined in any activities, but they are available to him if he would like to later on. The main reason we chose this place was the availability of an apartment on the first floor. Also, he has a patio and sitting area outside of his apartment.

Nice place. Some of the advertising was a little deceiving, listing only one price for the studio apt. but different apts. are different prices. I liked the one appt I saw, but it was $1000 more per month.

I like it here
The community put me in touch with a place for my therapy and they are nice. The staff at this community are nice and helpful. My only complaint is the food. They used some pre prepared food and I do not think they follow the instructions on how to prepare it. The community is clean and I would recommend it.
