Both my sister and I would not consider moving her unless something drastic happens. The main challenge is the staffing shortage, but I know that is common in all facilities. It can be challenging and causes communication issues a lot of times. But they really do try here and they genuinely care about the residents. I love that they have so many residents that are Veterans. They often do special activities for them and also offer them a discount. The activities in general are wonderful. They have a great variety and dad enjoys them. Meals can be a challenge for dad, but they really do try to accommodate his needs. Housekeeping is ok, but I often find myself cleaning again after they've come and gone a lot of times. Overall cleanliness is good, though. The staff is very nice and they really are trying to do their best here. It helps when residents have an advocate like I am for my dad. I think that's important with any facility that you have a loved one in.
