I spoke to another resident, and she said that it was better before the acquisition.\n\nI'm sure this is an isolated incident. But once the property was acquired by Pacifica, the sales and marketing person was unresponsive. Because of her incompetence, my mother's move was delayed by 1 month and we had to pay rent anyway. She is no longer with the company. she did not know what she was doing. She did not send the proper paperwork and the lease until the last minute Which delayed my mother's move. Other than that it is a nice place to live.\n\nI would recommend Lake Park with one caveat: be prepared to take at least 4-6 weeks to get paperwork completed and signed off by the resident's physician. Make sure there is someone there who knows how to read the lease. State Form 602 is one of many sets of documents required before a resident can move in.
