August has definitely been an interesting month in senior living. From learning more about your risk of developing Alzheimer’s to discovering ‘super brains’ in old folks, dementia research and knowledge is progressing. The New York Times also featured patient voices of Alzheimer’s Disease to help provide the perspective of people and families going through the heart wrenching experience of dealing with the debilitating disease.
Also, healthy aging has been a main topic of interest. Katie Couric discusses on NBC how integral diet, exercise and nutrition play an important role on enjoying your golden years.
