We chose Landing of Poughkeepsie because out of the ones we looked at, it was cleaner, they were more professional, and staff seemed better trained. The room sizes are great, she has a 1 bedroom and it is very comfortable. I would definitely recommend them, they have been very communicative about everything and it is all around just a great facility.

Overall, they are very good with keeping our family informed of my sisters care, which was important to us. They do seem to have a lot of activities available and my sister seems to enjoy them.
Read moreWe chose Tappan Zee Manor because of the friendliness of the people we met when we first got here, the price, the convenient location. The room sizes are very nice and spacious. The building used to be a hotel, so they are all about hotel size and all redone. They have a couple of people involved in the activities and they do a tremendous job, residents are always busy. We are very happy with our choice and would recommend to others looking.
