A graduate of Oberlin College with a degree in English Literature, Ginny Morey is a Seattle-based writer and avid traveler who has covered topics that range from medieval Scottish history to wine festivals to the best walking shoes for hard-to-fit feet. For 25 years she was the sole caregiver for her mother, debilitated at 63 by an aneurysm and subsequent brain surgery, which provided firsthand experience with a senior loved one affected by physical limitations and severe short-term memory loss. Through researching and writing articles pertinent to aging, Ginny hopes to help others navigate the myriad challenging issues faced by seniors, their family and caregivers.
