This screening includes a number of areas of interest such as whether medication is self-administered or administered by staff;, initial comprehensive mental and physical assessment , any physical or mental limitations, and capacity for self-care. Public assistance is available through Medicaid 1915(c) waiver program. Staff members obtain training in a number of areas. These include: residents’ rights, resident needs, confidentiality, and legal and ethical issues.
