Review ofArbor Grove Assisted Living & Memory Care
4.1

The hardest decision in my life was finding an Assisted Living home for my Mom. We are very pleased with Arbor Grove Assisted living. It is a Christian based community. Love the religious songs they play and a prayer before meals. The staff is like family. Very caring and anxious to help in any way. The activities director is wonderful and plans activities for all to participate in. The chief is great. Along with good food, he calls the residents by name and makes the families feel important. Everyone is wonderful. As soon as you walk in the door staff is welcoming you and making you feel right at home. . I know we made the right decision. I know Mom is well taken care of.

Review ofCottage of Davison
5.0

Our loved one has only been here a short while but it is a nice a day experience. Cottage of Davison is a wonderful facility, everyone there is amazing and they are much cheaper then some of the larger communities we have had experiences with. The staff to residents ratio is well balanced, there are always nurses in the hallways interreacting with the residents, no one is off by themselves.

Review ofSpringvale Assisted Living & Memory Care
4.8

My mother decided to move from her own home in May 2021 due to mild cognitive memory loss. This loss impacted her ability to accurately take medication, prepare and eat meals and she was a widow as my dad passed in October 2018. She moved into a small private senior living home which worked out well, however she needed more living space and opportunity to engage in activities with more seniors. Springvale was recommended by my daughter in laws family and we visited. Staff provided us several tours and answered all of our questions and concerns. Mom moved in at the end of November and we are all settling in quite nicely. Her room is spacious and the entire residence is beautifully decorated and inviting. One gains of sense of calmness and comfort when you walk in. Mom mom is happy and enjoying her new home. The staff are all very busy and very welcoming. They treat the residents and guests with a smile and positive demeanor. I would definitely recommend!

Brookdale Bay City has been awesome, they have great and wonderful nurses there. They always make sure things are going smoothly, and anytime our loved one pulls her cord for help, there is no delay and they come in a very reasonable time. Whenever we give them feedback, they are right on top of it, and they are very quick to answer any questions we may have. Any feedback we have about this community is positive feedback.

My mom loves it here which makes us very happy. All of the staff have been amazing and they know the names of everyone as well as their cats. My parents love it there. They've made a lot of friends. They like the food. I was very pleased that they adapted and became a part of the community probably within about three months. And both of my parents have dementia, so I think that's saying a lot. There has been a little bit of a turnover of staff, but everybody there is so kind. And I know a lot of it is due to Covid and illness and all that stuff going on. They have a lot of activities - I've played Bingo with my parents, and they have all kinds of things going on. I think it's an excellent value, and I would highly recommend them.
