There are no Long Term Care plans which will be underwritten for a person in their 80's.

I recommend True Freedom which is a non-insurance plan which offers home care services.

No Underwriting
No Phone Interviews
No claim forms
No deductibles
No Age Limits
No health issues needed to receive services

You should look into potential Medicaid qualification for your mother. There may be some steps that can be taken now to help her qualify earlier or save a part of her estate if she needs skilled care.

I would consult with an elder law attorney and look into various legal and financial techniques.
