Ask a Question

How do I find an assisted living community for a deaf person?

Dad has been deaf since birth, with Mom gone he needs someone who knows ASL so that he has company when I can't be there.

National Association of the Deaf has a section on their site for Seniors and there is a list of facilities by state. You could try that and or call one of those listed to determine if there is anythig close to your Dad.
I can not even imagine how frightening this must be for your Dad.
