I'm worried mom is getting early Alzheimer's, will her doctor talk to me?

We don't have any guardian or attorney thing set up, I'm just concerned about her confusion & memory. Will her doctor be able to speak with me if she is present? What about if I call him when she isn't around so that I can be more direct?

If your Mom is present the doctor will be able to answer questions you both ask. You can also get your Mom to sign papers at the doctors office that would allow you to talk to the doctor and the doctor to respond to your questions.
You also, if you have not have your Mom name a POA for health care that way you will be able to make medical decisions for her if she is unable.
