How can I find adult day care for my Father who has Alzheimers?

Hello-

I am looking for quality adult day care programs in various states for my father who has dementia. He currently goes to an adult day care program in Chicago,
so is familiar with the services. He will be splitting time between Chicago, California, Arizona and Montana. I am looking to find services for adult day care in:
California:
Concord
Pleasant Hill
Antioch
Walnut Creek
Contra Costa

In Arizona, I am looking for services in the Phoenix and Tempe Area

And in Montana, I am looking for services in Helena/ Montana City area.

Thanks-
Alya

You are well on your way! Congratulations for taking the first step.

My very best recommendation:

1- Call A Place for Mom at (866) 568-2989. Their advisers can give you direction based on your unique situation.

2- Call the communities to request details and pricing.

3- Choose the top communities. I would recommend picking two to five out of the referrals.

4- Tour the top communities. A Place for Mom has fantastic resources on what to look for when touring. You can find them at

Hi Alya,
I would suggest starting with a Senior Living Advisor at 1-866-568-2989. Being a nationwide company the SLA you talk to can help you in any location as he/she can use her peers in the other locations!
