How can I find someone to help with DCF or medicaid questions?

My wife had 3 strokes in 2013/14 and was in ICU & ICU rehab for 3 weeks and then 7 weeks, I have been her caregiver for the past year, she is now in assisted living. I asked DCF for help but am overcome with questions and paperwork from them and feel the need for a consultant or lawyer to help me, but can't find one that deals with these issues, any suggestions?

I'm not sure where you are located, but your best bet is to head to the social security office and present them with your questions. They should be able to help. Best of luck to you.
