Honestly, there simply isn't enough information to answer your question in a meaningful way. What kind of assistance do you require? Are you searching for a senior apartment, independent living or assisted living? If you are searching for Assisted Living, what state are you searching in? Every state breaks down what is permitted by assisted living slightly differently.

As a starting point, I would recommend calling an A Place for Mom counselor at 866-568-2989 who can point you to senior living options in your locale. From there, you should be able to gather additional resources and referrals to narrow down some options. Best wishes!

Independent living is exactly that. Like renting an apartment. Assisted living they will bring you your medication or some you could stop in office. All facilities are different and don't always let the decor sway your choice. This care is only until you need more aggressive care. There are some places that have independent to hospice. Determine how much help you need. Do the homework before you visit. You'll have a better idea what to expect. Take your instinct in consideration. Also I would visit unannounced. They won't have a prepared area. If they ask you to return, don't.
