How do I get mom to comply with treatment for depression?

Mom refuses treatment for her depression, if the doctor prescribes antidepressants do I have to tell mom that she is taking them? She wouldn't notice one more pill in her pill box.

If just placing another pill in the pill box is the only way to get her to comply with taking the meds that is what I would do.
The only draw back to that would be if she were to need emergency medical care how would the medical team get the information that she is taking this particular medication? If you are with her all the time or can add it to the list of meds that she is on (hopefully she has a list with her all or it is posted for medical personel) that would help.
The concern I would have is if she were asked what meds she is on and does not know if she is taking an antidepressant there may be adverse reactions if they had to administer medications in an emergency.
