Seniors can learn new technology and doing so will make an enormous difference in their lives. Exploring the Internet can help an elderly individual overcome feelings of isolation, can improve their sense of health and well-being and increase feelings of self-esteem as they learn new skills.

There are several organizations that offer tech training for seniors.

· Older Adults Technology Services

· SeniorNet

· Oasis Connections

· Volunteen Nation

If your granddaughter lives near her grandmother, she could stop by a few times a month to provide instruction as this would also serve as a nice time for a visit. She may want to search the web for a guide entitled “teach tech to grandparents”.
