Is there a special computer mouse for people with arthritis?

My dad loves his computer but the arthritis in his hands has gotten so bad that he has trouble with a normal sized mouse. Is it possible to find one designed for those with no hand dexterity?

Depending on your dad's unique situation, it may be helpful to purchase a track-ball mouse as opposed to a standard infrared. Larger track balls can be used with multiple parts of the hand and remain stationary, allowing your dad to take more time to use the area of his hand he is most comfortable with. Also search for a mouse that has the largest buttons available for the same reasons. It may also be helpful to turn down the speed of the cursor, click and scroll so that less dexterity is needed to navigate on screen.
