"Thing honestly couldn't be better with the caretaker we hired (Martha) from Caregivers America. She was a nurse in her home country of Columbia for 16 years and is really getting along well with Sergio and my soon to be mother-in-law. Martha has been helping Sergio shave, shower and takes him on walks which is something he hasn't been able to do in years. It allows for Andrea's mom to have time for herself which also hasn't happened in years. It's really been a blessing and I believe we'll be getting Martha to spend more than the 2 days per week now. Jessica with her exhaustive knowledge of the New York health care industry, caring personality and tireless work ethic, is an invaluable asset to A Place for Mom. My initial conversation with Jessica involved her getting a feel for our Mom's then living conditions and what was going on in her life that was necessitating the search for assisted living. At the end of our hour long conversation, there was a consensus between us of which facilities would potentially be a good fit for our Mom.
