Burns brings 18 years of sales and marketing experience to the company. Her primary responsibility will be to manage the growing team of the Texas region of eldercare advisors.

Prior to joining A Place for Mom, Burns was the regional director of sales and marketing at Merrill Gardens/Horizon Bay where she managed the sales team in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Colorado and New Mexico. Before her nine years with Merrill Gardens, Burns was a marketing director at Life Care Centers of America. Burns is an active member in her local community, participating in various senior housing organizations including the Tarrant Area Gerontological Society, Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk committee, and Continuity of Care of Ft. Worth.
