A Place for Mom's "Professionals Helping Seniors" event is an exciting networking opportunity in the Madison, Wisconsin area open to any professional or business that provides a service or product to senior citizens.

Join us on June 8, 2015 with presenter Jeanne Kolker for "Healing from Grief: Using Movement and Humor to Process the Pain."

Jeanne is a dynamic speaker who will share her professional journey of helping people process their grief through a whole body approach. Jeanne will discuss how movement can help the mind heal from grief and will share insights on the power of humor both in grief healing and everyday life. We hope the takeaway from this talk with help you professionally and personally as we all encounter different sources of grief in our lives.

About the Speaker

Jeanne has experience working with adults, teens and children and seniors with a variety of challenges in both an agency and private practice setting. She works from a strengths-based approach, utilizing therapeutic modalities including mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused treatment. Jeanne is a sensitive guide who can offer insights from a neutral perspective and provide support during difficult times. She is the founder of Insight Counseling & Wellness.
