"Thing honestly couldn't be better with the caretaker we hired (Martha) from Caregivers America. She was a nurse in her home country of Columbia for 16 years and is really getting along well with Sergio and my soon to be mother-in-law. Martha has been helping Sergio shave, shower and takes him on walks which is something he hasn't been able to do in years. It allows for Andrea's mom to have time for herself which also hasn't happened in years. It's really been a blessing and I believe we'll be getting Martha to spend more than the 2 days per week now. "I took my parents to Meadow Lodge in Chelmsford MA yesterday. I think this is a great place for them. They can share a apartment and my dad will get the extra care he needs. My mom will have the freedom to have an active life and know he will be cared for by the staff. You don't know how much of a relief this is not to put him in a nursing home. In May 2007 they will be married 60 years it is great that they can stay together. Thank you so much; you've been a great help to someone who didn't have a clue."
