Laura has worked in the senior living industry for over ten years. Laura started working in health care after earning a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. Laura counseled many seniors about the importance of following special diets and eating well. Laura found her way into sales when she decided to work in the food industry and sold to dietitians and food service directors for over five years. Missing the healthcare industry, Laura returned and began working for a home health company in sales and marketing. Following that Laura worked for over five years at a large senior living organization as a sales counselor and sales specialist. During this role Laura gained knowledge about all the senior living options and communities available to families. Laura knows how to educate families and help them select the right community for their loved one. Laura has also planned many community events for seniors at the communities she has worked at. She has worked closely with community activity directors and outside venders to help provide fun and educational information to many seniors after they select their new homes. Laura enjoys making seniors happy and watching them settle into their new homes after they do decide to move. Laura is a great listener. She empathizes with seniors who need to make lifestyle changes and with families that have to make choices on behalf of their loved one. By providing support and resources she will help find a solution to seniors and their family.
My family. I have been blessed with a marriage of 26 years. I also have four children ages 25-18 years old and two dogs. I enjoy exercising, especially biking and group fitness classes. I also enjoy gardening, cooking and getting together with friends and extended family
