Carolyn received a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Tennessee. After teaching high school for several years, she worked as a Program Director for a nutritional council, conducting nutrition training workshops for teachers, health care providers and consumer groups. She took several years off to be a Stay-at-Home Mom, during which time she founded a Gourmet Dessert Company selling to restaurants, bakeries and hotels. She later worked as a Territory Manager for a national food company and pursued a Real Estate License.
