The Hampton House, a Georgia licensed assisted living facility, has recently opened in rural Colbert, Georgia. The facility director, Jackie Pierce, is an RN and states she has a devoted, caring, compassionate and experienced staff on hand for 24 hour oversight, medication management and assistance with personal care. The Hampton House also provides respite for those who still need assistance after hospital discharge or rehab. Respite can also provide relief for caregivers.
The Hampton House is able to house up to six residents. The historic home, which was built in the early 1900’s, and recently totally renovated, offers nutritious meals, activities and wellness programs. The home has a full-service kitchen, living room, dining room, sun porch and a large front porch complete with comfortable rockers to relax in. TV and wireless Internet service have also been installed. Colbert is approximately 16 miles from Athens, Georgia, home of the University of Georgia.
