Roland Park was developed between 1890 and 1920 by the Roland Park Company. The development was named for the early Baltimore county landowner, Roland Thornberry.

The company was incorporated in 1891. The company subsequently employed Frederick Law Olmsted, Jr., designer of New York's Central Park and the designer of the lovely grounds and gardens at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina. Houses in this are are eclectic, with both contemporary and historic styles, including timbered English Tudor, revived versions of Georgian and Regency styles, and original designs related to the British "Arts and Crafts" movement.

We Love Helping Families Find the Right Senior Care

"Thank you for all of your help with mom. She is very happy and frankly I don't think she could have found a more suitable place. She is so happy with her room that she invites everyone to come up and see how comfortable she is."

Susan K., Found Assisted Living in Baltimore, MD

"I've never heard my mom say how good she feels and how loved she feels as she has with this new place. She is very happy there and her health is great! She is eating great tasting food, her sugar levels are in control and her legs are looking the best I've ever seen them. I cannot thank you enough for all that you did."

JoAnn C., Found Assisted Living in Baltimore, MD
