I cannot say enough good things about Suncrest Place and their staff! My dad has been a resident since January 2024 and has been treated with so much respect and kindness by the staff. The staff genuinely care about each and every resident. The Director and the Business Office Manager have been instrumental in making sure my dad receives the care he needs and keeps an open communication channel with my brother and I which has been so important as we both live in a different state. When looking for an assisted living facility for my dad it was not easy. However, this facility stood out to me for many reasons including the small size, personalized attention, cleanliness and simplicity of facility, food quality, friendly and caring staff, and more. Suncrest Place has continued to exceed my expectations!

Highly Recommended!
I cannot say enough good things about Suncrest Place and their staff! My dad has been a resident since January 2024 and has been treated with so much respect and kindness by the staff. Review for Suncrest Place
It's a nice location, outside of the city. It's a smaller community, with one level, which is a more intimate, friendly, and cozy atmosphere. I felt that, my loved one needed a larger community with more people, and social interaction.

Small, friendly community with very caring staff
We have not seen the community ourselves so we cannot comment on the cleanliness, but we do know based on the experience our family has had so far we would recommend Suncrest Place to others.

Food needs work
My dad and multiple residents have been complaining that the food is not cooked properly. Lots of room for improvement on the food.
Other than the food everything else has been quite lovely and very well suited for our families needs.

Peace of Mind
I would recommend Suncrest Place to others for their loved ones. They are very friendly here, and the community is on the smaller side which makes it more personal. The staff are responsive to questions or concerns the family has, there are times it can take a while to hear from them.
Medication management, dressing, hygiene, and bathing assistance are some of the types of care the community has been able to assist my loved one with.
Three meals a day, the room, housekeeping, laundry, and changing of linens are included in the monthly price.

Mom is happy here.
Before Suncrest Place, my mom was at home by herself all the time and never went anywhere. My brother stopped by Suncrest Place the other day and caught her out socializing, sitting by the fireplace doing a crossword puzzle and talking to people, which was shocking to us. We're pretty happy about it. She doesn't need a ton of care right now, but this is a great place for her not to be alone. The staff have been great. So far so good - nothing bad to report.

Suncrest Place review
Suncrest is a great place, the people who work there with major emphasis are helpful, professional and very friendly. However, due to some of the covid restrictions and regulations some of the things we were told our loved one would have access to are not happening, and there is not much social stimulation. The community is very clean, and it is smaller so it offers more one on one attention, but even with their executive chef the food in the kitchen at times is very institutional, boring and bland.

This facility was really nice and so were the people. It is all assisted living, and my loved one did not need that yet so we went with a different facility. The rooms here were on the smaller side.

Could Be Better, Could Be Worse
The people who work at Suncrest are sincere, and they care about the residents. Maybe because they are understaffed and overworked, they often do not do what we are paying for. Laundry might not get done, trash cans and urinals might not be emptied, personal items are lost and misplaced. Also, there is no system of accountability. We pay for services that may or may not be carried out. We have no way of knowing. Our parent is happy with the food and likes the people, but we worry a lot about how our parent is doing
Enlivant recently invested in a remodel of the entire building. In our opinion, they transformed a very warm, attractive environment into one that is very cold and unappealing. If we walked in tomorrow looking for a place for our parent, we would not consider Suncrest. Also, the doors are very difficult for the residents to use, and are a safety hazard. They spent a fortune on the remodel, but did nothing to improve the doors.

Friendly Staff!!
My aunt so far has had a pleasant experience with the staff at this community. She has recently fell and is unable to make it down to the dinning hall so they have made accommodations as best as they can to help her. They often check on her in the room and bring her meals to her in her apartment. Other than a few issues we as a family have been content with the quality of care she has been receiving and have no complaints.

Best kept secret in the Rogue Valley
This place is the best kept secret in the Rogue Valley. I was so impressed from the moment I walked in the door. The Executive Director was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. It was very apparent that the staff knew their residents just by their interactions. The facility was clean, nicely decorated and didn't feel overwhelming in size like some of the larger places in town. We liked the hominess, the courtyard, and the general overall warmth of everyone we met. Looking forward to moving mom in soon.

We like the smaller size!!
This is a smaller community with about thirty seven rooms and it is all on one level. Dad seems to like the food. The staff are accommodating and try to get him involved in the daily activities. He said the staff are kind to him. The community is very nice and I would recommend it.

The Tour Went Good, Moving In Soon
After looking at how nice this community is we decided to have our mom live here. It is a clean and organized community with welcoming staff. The manager/director was great to meet with. I got to try a meal here and I thought it was very good food.

A Temporary Stay
Within the first few hours of staying here, my dad somehow wandered off three times. The community and I realized we needed a more secure environment. This is not available here so I ended up staying with my dad for a few days to ensure he does not wander off. During my stay I took care of my dad most time time, even though I was in their community i feel like I could have received my support till we found a better fit for my dad. I did like the community but there was a lack of communication between me and the staff. It could have been a better, helpful experience.

Medicaid not Accepted
I am worried about their viability, because they are only half full and nothing has changed. So I don't see how the corporation can be making money. The reason is because the stopped accepting Medicaid. So they are going to have to start accepting Medicaid or shut the place down, because they can't be making money with it only half full. So that is my concern.
