Our campus offers a continuum of care including Assisted Living, Transitional Care and Rehabilitation. We offer short-term rehabilitative care as well as long-term care. Our emphasis is on service excellence — providing quality care in a home-like environment to allow for independence and to enable our patients and residents to receive the medical care they need, the restorative therapy they require, and the support they and their families deserve. Kindred Healthcare, Inc. owns and operates Stratford Commons. Our philosophy is simple; we provide high quality, dignified, health care services by treating people as unique, important individuals. We know that we succeed only by treating both our clients and staff as valued customers. We judge our clients and staff as valued customers. We judge our success not only by profits, but also by how our customers are benefiting emotionally, physically, and spiritually from their contact and interactions with us. We want our employees to profit from excellent working conditions, merit pay, and a true love of what they do. This makes for positive outcomes both for the consumer and their families.

"I was completely unprepared and you gave me some direction. I
appreciate that after giving me advice, you gave me some space to
make a decision. This was one of the hardest decisions I
have ever had to make, but I felt that I had someone that was
objective that I could consult with. I also checked out
some facilities that were recommended by acquaintances and the best
of theirs was worse than any of the ones that you recommended."

"My mom settled in beautifully. I hesitated moving her for over
a year because of all the warnings of 'transfer trauma' I had
heard. She didn't miss a beat. Once there she became
clearer and calmer, she did so much better!"
