The food was good the first week. They had a lot of activites but I did not participate. I picked this community because, it was a smaller, and I was familiar with area. I would recommend to other families.

Tour experience
I was very impressed with our tour at Brookdale Berkley Boulevard. [name removed] was great throughout the whole tour. The staff seemed more in-tune with the residents and what was going on. It is smaller and not as updated as a few others we saw, but I think we were looking at the wrong things. I almost wish now that we would have chosen this facility for my mom over the one she is at now.

My review of Brookdale Berkeley Boulevard
Our family was able to do a virtual tour and our experience was really good. This community was very secured it locked on the inside as well as the outside, and we wished we chose this facility for our loved one.

Would highly recommend this community
From what we have been able to see of the community it seems clean, the staff members are wonderful we have had no complaints. The care services are also good, and we do know the have some exercises classes in the morning. We have been extremely happy with the care they have provided.

Great place for my parents
We chose Brookdale Berkeley Boulevard because my father was in another Brookedale previously and liked the facility. We also liked the size of the rooms, they are very spacious, enough room for two. My parents say the food is good and they enjoy it. Their favorite part about the community has been the in-room service. I would recommend this facility.

Sterling house of Goldsboro was our first experience with Assisted living. StAff was very courteous and helpful. We had to move e to fAcility with more round the clock staff due to medical decline in our loved one.

The people at Sterling House of Goldsboro have been very friendly, and have really helped mom to adjust in there well.
One suggestion I would make is this: Any time someone is looking to put there loved one in a home like this, it would really help to have a simple
moving in" checklist. There is a lot to think of and remember, and it's easy to think you have all bases covered only to later realize some simple detail was overlooked.

Nice place, overall
Things have gone very well with Sterling House of Goldsboro so far. It's been a very pleasant experience, and we don't have any complaints. It is a nice place, and I would recommend them to others looking into senior care in the area.
