Spurgeon Manor

Spurgeon Manor offers many levels of care: townhouses, independent apartment living, residential care, skilled and intermediate nursing care, including an Alzheimer’s unit. Residents currently living in our townhouses and independent apartments are privileged to preferential access to residential care, skilled and intermediate nursing care, and the Alzheimer’s unit over third party persons not having a prior relationship with Spurgeon Manor.

Townhouses The townhouses are located on the southern portion of our property. There are both one and two bedroom units available. A monthly fee is charged to cover the following features: lawn care, snow removal, garbage pick-up, minor maintenance, bi-monthly housekeeping, liability insurance, and property insurance on the structure itself, an emergency pendent that when activated will place a call into the Manor, and preferential access to the Manor. This fee is subject to change as needed. Information about these townhouses including the prices, agreements, and features is available upon request.

Iona Wise Apartments Spurgeon Manor offers seven apartments in our Iona Wise section: Studio (400 sq. feet), One Bedroom (600 sq. feet), and Two Bedroom (800 sq. feet). All apartments feature ground level locations, parking, individually controlled heating and air conditioning, stove, refrigerator, disposal, draperies, carpeting, and access to other community facilities including the library, cafe, and recreation areas. The monthly fee includes payment of utility charges (except telephone and cable), bimonthly housekeeping services, laundry facilities, and the noon meal. Breakfast and supper meals are available for an additional fee.

Residential Care Spurgeon Manor is licensed for thirty (30) Residential Care beds. This level of care includes three meals a day in the dining area, one time a week housekeeping and bed changes as needed. Personal laundry is processed by our facility laundry department
