I am happy with moving my mom to Silver Creek. The facility is under new management, so far no changes, the staff has stayed the same. The food is great and the community events are fun and well planned. I am comfortable with the cost as I am so happy with the care she receives.

Happy with Silver Creek
Moving my Mom to Memory Care was a tough decision. The staff at Silver Creek Senior Living was so helpful. They were so welcoming to my Mom and took her on a tour while we moved her things in and got her room put together. Communication with the family is great, so I know how my mom is doing. We are very happy with Silver Creek!

My impression of Silvercreek Assisted Living in Woodburn, Oregon
The workers at Silvercreek are always nice and always helping people with a friendly smile. There are activities for the elderly, but I think there could be a few more activities to do. The environment has been recently remodeled and is bright and cheery with several cozy areas to sit and watch TV. Silvercreek does s good job in keeping the environment clean. My biggest disappointment is in the food served to the elderly. It's not healthy enough, and there is not a specific diet for people with diabetes. Overall, I would recommend people to take a tour and consider Silvercreek as a possibility when for assisted living.

Check Them Out
The community has really great people. We spoke to hospice and they said this was a good community. The community is a smaller community, and has up to 80 residents. I believe this number includes the assisted living and memory care areas.
Silver Creek had one staff member who only had come down with COVID. Now this is the only community in our area who is COVID free. The staff are working very hard to ensure to keep COVID away.
The administration team is doing a great job on checking on the residents and staff. This allows the direct support staff to assist the residents further.
There was a nice lady that works in the office, that took the initiative to wrap boxes up for my loved one to make sure there packages under the tree. for Christmas. This staff member checks on my loved one daily and then dials the phone to allow the family to speak to our loved one. The management/administration is wonderful.
It has been hard to keep the direct support staff to the residents. The food is wonderful.
There were activities prior to the pandemic. Silver Creek tries to celebrate all different holidays, Elvis came to perform around Christmas each year, and they had outside vendors come in to entertain the residents. There are puzzles, games, and bingo available as well.

Good facility with some areas of improvement needed. Has a lot of staff turnover which confuses some residents with dementia. Food is generally okay but frequently runs out of sandwich meat and soup at mealtime. Some caregivers don't seem to be motivated; although there are a few exceptional ones. Caregivers (some) seems to lack adequate training in dealing with dementia among the elderly. Just tonight I was there for dinner they had no deli meats or hamburgers. They need to do a better job at managing the food orders.

The staff was very good they were able to provide the care my husband needed. They were always happy and willing to do whatever was needed and necessary. The entire staff made it a very nice place to visit and live. The food was good and the activities were great, Kept him busy and involved. I appreciate all they did for him. They also made me feel very comfortable in coming at any time.

After a bit of a rough start, things have smoothed out and my mom feels well cared-for in this community. Her caregivers know her well and she feels respected and safe. The food is usually to her liking; the surroundings, while not opulent, are pleasant, homey, and clean.

Going as well as expected
Everything is going as expected. My brother is in the memory care section of the facility and the staff is doing the best that they can to care for him. He is probably one of the more active residents at this location so he does a lot of walking around. The staff provides activities to stimulate the residents and engage them. They also have the option to go off site for outings. During the time that my brother was here is he has seemed settled down now compared to when he first moved in. Every time I would visit the facility is always very clean. They clean his room I believe every day and the food that they provide seems very adequate.

My husbands good care
This is a nice community. The staff are caring and attentive to his needs. The menu is appealing for him to choose from a nice variety. They offer activities for the residents who want to participate with the other residents. We would recommend this community for the great care and value for other families.

Not very satisfied with this community!!
I am very dissatisfied with this community and the lack of help they have provided my mother on making the adjustment into her new living environment. The staff are not as friendly and welcoming as I was hoping for and the residents seem to be very quiet. The food could use some improvement as well, there is not a large variety of options and they do not offer a fresh salad bar like most other assisted livings.

Found A Place for Mom extremely helpful in initially providing potential Assisted Living communities that would fit our needs for Mother. Then they were always responsive to questions we had giving us good responsible assistance. We been very impressed with Silver Creek---from the first step in on moving day, everyone, residents & staff, greeted our Mother by name and welcomed her. They has been very responsive to my questions and her needs. Other residents we've talked to seem happy and well cared for.

wonderful place
The cleanliness of dads room is wonderful. I go in once a week to visit my dad, and they really do a good job. he seems very happy there. He looks real well taken care of there. It seems like a very nice place. Right now as far as I am concerned, they are doing a really good job.
