To reduce these concerns for you, we want you to know that our caregivers are our employees - not contractors. Right at Home removes the HR burdens from you by deducting and paying the necessary payroll taxes, State Disability Insurance, FICA and Worker’s Compensation insurance. We maintain standard business liability and theft bonds. And, if for any reason you wish to change to a different a caregiver, you need only to call our office and we will handle the necessary changes -- no need for you to have an unpleasant conversation with the caregiver.
Prior to making a hiring decision, we perform full criminal background screening, DMV record checks, substance abuse screening, abuse registry checks. competency testing and license verification.
