About Pioneer Estates
We believe that with the right supports seniors with health care problems or memory loss can continue to benefit from living in the community.
Pioneer Estates can provide the basic supports to make community living feasible. We start by providing a safe and clean home to reside in. Our home is comfortable for the resident and their family because it resembles a typical family home. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual. Staff dedicate their time and attention to the needs of the residents 24 hours a day. We have a daily activity program that involves art and crafts, games, music, pets, socialization, physical exercise and community activities to name a few. Companionship is provided to each resident all through the day.
For residents with Alzheimers Disease or related dementia, staff are trained to understand and accommodate for the symptoms of dementia that may reveal itself in behavioral problems, difficulty with personal cares, and communication. We also have succeeded with persons who have physical limitations from Parkinson’s Disease and stroke, and with persons who have mental health issues.
We strive to keep all people active and involved in activities of daily living by providing the individualized supports that they need to make involvement possible.
