About Northbrook Inn Memory Care Community

Northbrook Inn, part of the Koelsch Senior Communities, and family owned since 1958 is located in the village of Northbrook. The single-story memory care community in the Pointe Drive neighborhood is considered by many to be a retiree's dream neighborhood as it is peaceful and quiet, close to medical facilities, with a vibrant mix of educated seniors, a high safety rating, and is one of the most retiree-friendly areas in IL.

If your loved one is just in the beginning stages of Alzheimer's, Dementia, Memory Care, or is needing more one-on-one care, Northbrook Inn will be the perfect environment. Trained professional staff and licensed nurses will be onsite 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to meet the specific needs of each person and remain committed to bringing dignity, respect and the highest standards of service to all of our 'family members'. Whether for a short respite stay or for a lifetime, our family will take care of your family.

Along with excellence in care, Northbrook Inn will offer full meals, vibrant mental and physical activities 7 days a week, scheduled social outings on a wheelchair-accessible bus, and regular family engagement opportunities. We understand the challenges that families who are caring for loved ones with memory loss. Northbrook Inn will offer in-house support groups for family-caregivers as well as facilitate strategic relationships in the community to inspire our 'family' of residents.

Support Group for Caregivers

When: 7/20/2017 at 10 am until 11 am

Where: Northbrook Inn

Support groups for caregivers caring for those with memory loss. Groups led by Terry Rasmussen, Bereavement Coordinator for Heartland Hospice. We'll care for your loved one with memory loss while you attend the group meeting. Pre-registration is required.
