About Nashoba Park

Nashoba Park, a Volunteer of America senior community, is a historic renovation of the former Ayer Community Hospital. It is nestled in the heart of the Historic District on the hilltop just above downtown Ayer, MA. Nashoba Park offers local seniors service-enriched Assisted Living in a comfortable residential setting. Nashoba Park, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and their community courtyard is a Certified Wildlife Habitat.

Residents enjoy an enriching, supportive lifestyle with personalized services, innovative EnrichedLIFE programming, a fine dining experience featuring their award-winning Brain Healthy Cooking Program, and upscale amenities.

Nashoba Park was established by the nonprofit Volunteers of America, the nation's largest nonprofit provider of affordable housing for the elderly. The community is managed by Senior Living Residences,"The Right Values Company" with a proven 20-year reputation among professional referral sources, residents and families for quality care and services, innovation and integrity.

Nashoba Park serves local seniors throughout Nashoba Valley, including the towns of Ayer, Groton, Harvard, Acton, Boxborough, Shirley, Townsend, Pepperell, Lunenburg, Lancaster, Westford, and Littleton, MA. We also serve other Massachusetts communities a bit farther away, including Fitchburg, Leominster, Clinton, Gardner and Athol. Additionally, we have had seniors from several New Hampshire towns close to Massachusetts move here, including Hollis, Brookline and New Ipswich, NH.

Lots of community gathering areas throughout the building some with full kitchens for group cooking or family gatherings to warm up a meal. Tables great for playing cards etc. Staff very friendly... more...
