The thoughtful design of our community is one of the first things you’ll notice about Haciendas at Grace Village. Our beautiful Spanish-style architecture and stunning New Mexico scenery welcomes you and creates an atmosphere that feels truly awe-inspiring to call home. You’ll even be able to watch the sun set over Picacho Peak from your own backyard! Plus, animal lovers will be glad to know that our community is pet-friendly.
We founded our home in 2012 based on our belief that there is value in each and every person. Much of what we offer, such as a 1-6 caregiver ratio, surpasses what is required in the state of New Mexico. We carefully considered how many people would be ideal for one home space, so our residents would feel cared for and comfortable — and not just like one of many.
We encourage you to check your insurance policies, as these can sometimes help cover the cost of memory care. Veterans may be eligible for benefits as well.

Recommended
I always felt that my dad was safe at Haciendas at Grace Village. The staff treated him with tenderness and kindness. He was always dressed nicely and had his hair combed. The building was always clean and smelled good. The friendliness, care services, activities and meals were great. I feel that they went out of their way to accommodate and help my dad. I would recommend Haciendas at Grace Village to family and friends.

disappointing management controls
What makes it worse is that there's no communication when the switchboard closes especially weekends, and turnover is atrocious. I am wanting to move my loved one back to [facility name removed], we on the waiting list at [facility name removed]. There's a new director, my third in two years, head nurses change like my underwear, but the staff in both the casitas she has lived in are awesome and loving.

We cannot comment on the activities because our loved one did not participate in them. Geared towards dementia care -- Mom was in last stages of dementia when we placed her at Grace Village. Generally Caregivers were very helpful, caring and accessible. On site medical staff was also helpful.

My suggestion for improvement: Do what they promised. I would recommend this facility to friends and family, with reservations. There's not many options available.

Haciendas at Grace Village is The Best Las Cruces, NM
I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. I like the way they have the community broken up by level of care that is needed. They have a very homey atmosphere.
The caregiver staff is excellent, and responsive to the family and residents. The administrative staff is okay.
The community has in house nurses and they are very good, and communicate very well to the caregivers on what the residents need are.

A Blessing For Our Family
This was a respite stay. My loved one was there for a few weeks. The move in and out process was rough. The facility provided all the supplies needed for her care. The staff was feeding my loved one during her meal times. The staff did a good job caring for her. They were very very kind. This is a secure facility, the staff have to let you in. The staff was the only ones allowed to open the doors.

This was a very good community. I almost chose this community but they were on covid lock down so I could not go in. That was the only reason I could not go to this community because I wanted her to be somewhere I was able to go in and see her.

A place for mom
We chose this facility because we got a good first impression on our tour, it was also very clean. The location was important to us as well so that way we could visit often. Their approach was a little different than others we looked into and it seemed like a good idea at the time. They have 4 separate buildings ;laid out identically that were based off of the level of care that the resident needed. Her level of functioning was higher than most of the others in her building but she was limited. I do think she would have benefited from different day to day socialization, but the staff was good about treating everyone the same. They were very good about activities here and overall I would recommend to others looking.

Would recommend for Alzheimer's care
We chose Haciendas at Grace Village because they specialized in Alzheimer's care, they were smaller units (12 people per unit), and they have different levels of care within the units. Since they all looked the same, he did not have to get acclimated with a totally new place. Each room was very nice and had their own bathroom. I would recommend.

Giving my dad joy at the end of his life
Dad's care was exemplary. Having seen my dad lose all of his skills that made him my dad, and watching him finally enjoy interaction and engaging with other residents brought him joy and laughter. I couldn't provide him the care he needed, he was sad and struggling and it was so heartbreaking for our family to watch and then to be able to see him have a little dignity and enjoy life again is what this community has provided us.

Good Place!!
My husband was only at this place for a short period of time but while he was there we where very pleased with how things had went for him. The staff where wonderful and provided him with excellent quality of care. They made sure he was comfortable and took his medication everyday. I would highly recommend this place to anyone interested.

Kudos for Haciendas at Grace Village
We cannot say enough good things about the Haciendas assisted living facility.
Our dad was only able to stay for a month, due to ill health. While he was in the assisted living facility, every person there, including the nurses, aides and administrators, was kind, helpful, encouraging and caring. The cooks prepare very nice, nutritious meals and accommodate any dietary needs and preferences. The staff also threw a birthday party for my dad's friends and family to attend, complete with decorations and his favorite dessert! As our dad approached the end of his life, the staff helped us to arrange hospice care. Hospice nurses added to the continuing great care that Dad received until his end.
The facility is very nicely appointed, with 12 private rooms, a comfortable dining space, with tables for 4, a pleasant living space/public space, a television, and a lovely patio. Every visitor my dad received also complimented the accommodations.
All of the residents that we met seemed very comfortable and well-cared for. We highly recommend the assisted living facility at Haciendas at Grace Village. They made our entire family feel at home and as comfortable as we could in the circumstances.

No Complaints!!
The staff has been great communicating with the family. It is a very clean and up-kept community. They do offer activities it would be nice if they could consider doing activities our loved ones also enjoyed. The food is okay. My mom is very safe we are happy knowing that she is very well taken care of.

Good facility!
Haciendas at Grace Village is a good facility. My loved one has been there on respite care. I like the staff. I have interacted with staff several times and they are friendly and helpful. It's a good facility.

Genuinely Concerned and Caring
They seem genuinely concerned with each resident that is staying there in the facility. The staff does extremely well at trying to adapt to handle the special needs of all the individual residents living there.

They've done pretty well, they feed him well and take care of him and interact with him which is important. What would be nice if there were more hobby activities that are there that they can do. There is just not a lot to do.

Mom care continued
Overall the place was clean. The food was not great but I think that was more of a budget problem. Lots of carbs and desserts and not much fresh fruit and vegetables. I didn't like the lack of call buttons. Most of the time there is only one caregiver on staff and residents can go for quite a while without getting their needs attended. There were times when I had to go find someone to help my mother. Maria and Yessica were true angels and treated my mom with respect and thorough care. They are the only reason I would recommend this facility.
