Screening

All Caregiver’s are selectively screened though interviews, background and reference checks, and meet all state and federal requirements for your protection. Our top priority is to assist clients with dignified affordable care which allows them to remain in their home. Aproximately only 1 in 38 candidates are approved for our registry.

Background

For nearly 30 years, Griswold Special Care has been referring tens of thousands of carefully screened, quality caregivers to provide personal care, companionship and homemaking for clients in the home or in a facility. Caregivers are available to help after a hospital stay, or provide live-in care due to a chronic condition such as Alzheimer’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis or ALS. The company was founded by geriatric counselor, Dr. Jean Griswold in response to the growing need for quality and affordable home care services in her own community.
