Heartis Longview
When I first went there they seemed perfect. I don't know another about care facilities and maybe have unrealistic expectations. Someone is stealing from his room. The aids don't have the patience my brother requires and they charge for every little item that I thought was included. Very clean. Activity director great. Food terrible.

Very Pleased!
My mother is currently a resident at Heartis Longview and everything has been great for her at this facility so far! The cleanliness and friendliness are great. The staff, care services, activities and value for cost are all great as well. I have nothing negative to say about the place. We are very pleased! I would recommend Heartis Longview to others.

Heartis Longview review
The people are really nice and the facility is nice but our loved one needs a little extra care, which we are paying for, but not getting as well as needed. We don't want to move her because of the stress it would cause her to start all over again and we do understand they are short staffed which is causing these problems.
In all honesty we think that it probably wouldn't be much better anywhere else. Everyone is short staffed and spread to thin. It's not a bad place, just not what we were led to believe when we interviewed them. They have not fulfilled what we were promised.

We chose Heartis Longview because we were impressed with the marketing lady, she was very personable, she knew all the right things to say, and she just made a really good first impression on my sister and myself. Most everything she said has turned out to be true. The room sizes here are great. Overall everything has worked out and we have been very happy with our choice.

Due to the covid restrictions we have not been able to get inside the community, but from our understanding the food seems to be pretty good. We would recommend the Heartis Longview community to others.

A warm, caring environment
Their memory care was very, very good, with the variety of activities and the amount they provided. They dealt with Alzheimer's patients very well. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and a couple of them even gave me their cellphones numbers. They always called if something came up. The care was good overall, but when my loved one became incontinent, he needed to be changed more often. Overall I would recommend this community.

Reasons I like Heartis
I toured 3 Memory Care units in Longview & have seen 2 others in the past. I chose Heartis for my mother because: 1) It consists of a single straight hall leading to either the dining/recreation area or a garden, so she can't get lost & doesn't have to walk far to get to either place (a concern because she has bad lungs); 2) it is bright & cheery with high ceilings & big ( by nursing home standards) windows - great for someone prone to depression; 3) the staff members are very friendly, nurturing, & patient. I see my mother every day & have been reassured by how involved they are with their charges - always looking for ways to help without being asked, checking on them when they choose to stay in their rooms, & responding very quickly when any alarm goes off. My mother has only been there one month & cannot remember any names, but she already clearly trusts them & is willing to cooperate with them. Both of us also like that her room looks out at woods.

Best choice in Longview
My wife was in the memory. Care section for a short time before her death. My regret is that we did not go to Heartis in the beginning. The staff handled a very difficult situation with love and respect. She received excellent care. [name removed] did everything she could for [name removed]. [name removed] had Lewy Body Dementia which is very difficult to control.
I highly recommend Heartis to anyone when the time arrives for a facility.
The staff kept me informed the entire time and would call if I was needed to help [name removed].
Outstanding staff and facility with exceptional food for the residents.

Everything is going fine!!
I have no complaints of how things are going for my mother since she made the move into this community. The staff have been friendly and I am comfortable with the quality of care she has been receiving. She has had no problems with the meals and enjoys participating in a few of the activities they have from time to time with the other residents. Overall it has been a great place and we are thankful for this place.

This is a nice community for care for a loved one. We liked that tour that would have been a nice place for care for my mom. Absolutely no complains!!
We love the Heartis Longview, the people are very nice, cooperative and accommodating. I highly recommend this community. They are very good about doing what I ask, my aunt seems to be very pleased. My cousin and I love the openness and brightness, the facility it's very open and bright. [Removed], the executive director, is an amazingly sweet lady. Everyone down to the maintenance man is just as accommodating, we could not be more pleased.
