Companion Living helps to improve socialization and involvement in activities, while reducing the feeling of isolation and loneliness. Our staff works closely with residents, family members, physicians and other health-care providers to develop a written, individualized care plan to guide our associates in providing the care each resident requires. We are also proud to be taking the lead in the industry by offering our residents a strengthening program called Reach to Improve®. This program was designed to exercise the major muscle groups used to perform daily tasks by using a combination of hand-held weights, ankle weights and elastic resistance. A Short Stay Program for seniors who need short-term care may also be available. It is the ideal alternative for recuperating after a hospital stay, while family caregivers are on vacation or if you just want to try out assisted living.
