Amazing Placement
This facility is amazing. They have gone out of their way to help us with placement and services. Food is good and served plenty. Grounds are very nicely kept. R they perfect? No one facility is! I would highly reccomend this facility to everyone.

Inspirations of Tempe review
Inspirations bought out the previous company and have had a problem keeping staff. With those staffing down, services are way behind. For example my mother in law's room wasn't cleaned for 3 weeks but cost for services were not reduced. They shouldn't be charged for services they haven't received.
My mother in law likes living there so she will stay.

My Sister-In-Law was in Elmcroft for nearly 22 months. After paying for [date removed] we were called on April 2nd and told to get her out of the facility. We moved her on [date removed]. The reason we were given, "She needs to be in Memory Care". Please Note: Elmcroft advertises they are a Memory Care Facility.
They tried to cheat her out of an extra day's cost. It took nearly a month to get all of her refund. Laundry service was included in the monthly price. We had to do her laundry for her since they weren't keeping up with the laundry. There were full bags of urine soaked clothes in her room.
The Patient needed to be checked on and taken to the bathroom in a more timely manner. Most of the times we visited her she was sitting in urine soaked clothes.

Out for themselves
91 yo mother was placed in Elmcroft [date removed] after spending a month rehab. Her admitting orders specified she dementia. She didn't recognize me when I visited & believed rehab was trying to kill her (documented). Fast forward. Elmcroft did not believe she had dementia. Her phone didn't work because she did not take it out of the box. Stories go on. Mother disowned and me revoked my POA with aid of someone. While at Elmcroft, she spent over $50K: giving $15K away and buying $36K of jewelry. I spent ~ $180K for her care. [name removed] passed and I was informed of this by a form bank letter. Elmcroft stated it is a family matter and that my Mother did not want any info about her relayed to me. They kept taking my money though. I spoke with Elmcroft and they said they were following [name removed] wishes and i can get a lawyer. Meanwhile her bank accounts have been wiped out and jewelry is gone. Tell me, who benefitted from this? I might add this all occurred during pandemic lockdown. RIP.

Bait and switch! Awful & Negligent Care
My mom was at Elmcroft and it is 100% horrible. The nurses and caregivers lie about the care they provide and the salesperson washes her hands of you once she's sold you this disaster if a place. They kept my mom alive while in respite but her room was almost always dirty and smelly. She always looked disheveled and they did not wash her face every day, keep her hydrated or engaged. They are LAZY about the care they provide and did not follow through with their promises. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR SALES PITCH! IT'S A BAIT AND SWITCH and if you care about your loved ones, don't trust them to do the same.

I toured the site the other day, and I have to say I was impressed. As a boy, I worked summers in a nursing home (quite large, about 200 residents), and I learned a little about it. I did not go into that field, but I can't unlearn what I learned. Some places I have seen are quite frightening when viewed from the lens of someone considering suggesting the place to a relative or friend. Not this place. The atmosphere was terrific, the place is clean, and the staff appeared to be friendly. I think the place is worth being on anybody's list.

Friendly and kind
My mom has been living here for 4 months and we all love it. Elmcroft is a beautiful balance of professional and family-like. I am welcome anytime. My mom loves the staff and most every resident she has met and visited with. Mom loves the activities like: music, art, bingo, and Bible Studies. All are optional and we encourage her to try new activities. The staff is friendly and attentive. Her doctor comes to her. My personal favorite is how many smiling residents are out of their rooms enjoying the common areas.

The best place for him.
They were very attentive to getting us signed up. Some details were not presented completely because of their rush. The client was not given a complete orientation and has not been satisfied with things that were not explained. They are responsive to questions and requests but limited to items in the Resident's Agreement.

Elmcroft Experience
Elmcroft of Tempe really deserves a 5 star rating. From the front desk to each and every staff member I met and talked with, my experience was pleasant and very informative. The rooms, activities, and all amenities were explained in detail. I definitely consider Elmcroft to be a great fit for anyone needing to to make a choice on placing a family member into a living place that's helpful, safe and enjoyable.

Time Spent there was ok
We had to move dad out once mom passed away. for my mom, she had been back and forth from the hospital and rehab a few times so she really didn't have any experience there but for my dad, he seemed to like it.
He enjoyed the people staff and the residents and while he was there he seemed to like the food.
Communication on the medications that he was supposed to be taking was a little bumpy at first but quickly got resolved. The staff was very sympathetic to our situation with my mom which we appreciated.

This community was a strong second for us. We liked the staff we met. They did offer a nice deal. They seem to offer a lot of nice amenities. They have nurses on staff. While we liked this community the community we chose was closer to family.

No complaints!!
I have no complaints with how things are going for myself since I made the move into this community. The staff have all been friendly and made sure to be attentive to my needs as well accommodate any of my needs. I am impressed that we get throughout the day and they have an awesome activity program for all of us residents to enjoy throughout the day.

Everything Is Just Right
The staff are super warm and you get to know them well. The community is very clean and it is fun to visit here. The meals are great from what we tasted, it has flavor and provides variety. My parents have not yet tried outings because the bus just got it back from repairs. We like to sit in the courtyard, it's beautiful and safe. It feels like your outside but it is within the community. The staff are very good but they could be a little more prompt. My dad tries to take care of mom when it takes too long when using the push the button.

I would give them zero what ever you do don't go here. If you want a loved one not to fall and told they are fine. Two weeks later the [Removed] from complications to a broken back.

Overall I'am satisfied with this community, but there are things they need to improve on. The community looks great, they do a good job with keeping the community and grounds well maintained. There are nice activities offered, everyday there is something going on for the residents. They do serve well balanced meals, and have a good variety of foods too choose from. This is a community I would recommend.
