There are also government and non-profit organizations that seniors and their families can look to for support. DSHC offers additional support to seniors opting to stay in their homes.

All personal care is provided in a manner that meets the client's physical, mental and psycho social needs and enables the individual to attain or maintain the highest practical level of functioning within the home environment.
At DSHC, our intentions are to provide quality in-home care and private services to seniors needing short-term and long-term care. Our staff members have over 30 years of experience combined in senior care and undergo face to face interview process. The caregivers are fully screened, skilled-assessed, character and employment referenced checked, criminal background check, and licenses and certification verified (if applicable). They also receive in-service and on the job training by clinical RN supervisor; so the client will always have the best care possible.
We provide live-in and live-out assistance
- Assist with bathing and dressing, oral care, skin care, hair care, perinea care, and shaving. Personal care also includes all services listed below.
- Alzheimer's care, Dementia care, encourage healthy snacks, encourage fluids, assist feeding, laying out clothes, assist with walking & transfers.
House Management- Meal preparations, clean kitchen, change linens, make bed, dishes, light laundry, light ironing, empty trash, dry cleaning, check mail, supervise home deliveries, vacuuming, and maintain safe environments.
- Pick up prescription, drive to beauty parlor, grocery shopping, dine out, drive to concerts/theatre, accompaniment to Drs. appointment, attend religious services, community activities, friends & family.
- Engage client in conversation, walks, reading, play card games, assist with bills, supervise usage of TV/internet, and answering doorbell & phone calls.
Our caregivers maintain a homelike atmosphere for our clients, protects, promotes client rights, and assists the client to maintain independence and control to the greatest extent possible.
The clinical RN supervises the aides by visiting the clients home to ensure compliance with care plan.
Our Management Team
We have a scheduled coordinator ,who is on-call 24/7.
The office staff are dedicated, professional, experienced, and patient people who understand the needs of our clients.
Our clinical RN supervisor assess and evaluate the clients and initiates the plan of care. They also counsel the client and family in meeting nursing and related needs, and regularly re-evaluates the client nursing needs. The RN supervise all staff members by making announced and unannounced visit at the client home.
We coordinate clients care with other providers, (i.e. clients physician, family members, hospitals, specialty based centers, community & home health agencies).
DSHC agency is located in Frederick MD. We also serve all of Montgomery County.
