COMFORT KEEPERS - "Serving Greater Hartford - East and West of the River since 2003"
Thank you for your interest in Comfort Keepers, the leading provider of non-medical, in-home care, with over 600 independently owned and operated offices nationwide.
Comfort Keepers provides solutions for the home care needs of clients and families, helping them to remain at home or in a senior community - with added safety and quality of life.
Our Comfort Keepers office is located in Bloomfield, CT and has been serving the Greater Hartford area "East and West of the River" since 2003, providing companionship, homemaking, personal care, transportation and home safety technology for seniors and adults in need of assistance with the activities of daily living.
Comfort Keepers serves clients residing in the areas of Avon, Bloomfield, Canton, Farmington, Glastonbury, Granby, Manchester, Simsbury, South Windsor, Vernon, Windsor, West Hartford and beyond.
All of our caregivers are employees of Comfort Keepers and are local residents of our community who are bonded, insured, background checked and covered by Worker’s Compensation. Comfort Keepers verifies employee eligibility to work in the U.S. and coordinates payroll, with all applicable taxes paid.
The Client Care Coordinator/R.N. works with the client and family to develop the written plan of care, supervises the caregivers and communicates with clients and families.
Scheduling of Comfort Keepers services is flexible based on client need, ranging from the minimum of 2 hours per visit to live-in care.
Comfort Keepers employee caregivers are residents of our local community.
Comfort Keepers utilizes a telephone time clock system to track the arrival and departure of each caregiver assigned to a client. The Comfort Keepers office telephone is answered live 24/7/365 by on-call office staff.
Prior to services beginning, Comfort Keepers requires a home visit and assessment in order for the R.N./Client Care Coordinator to properly develop the written Plan of Care and make suggestions for safety improvements and other services needed.
Comfort Keepers services may be paid through private funds or long term care insurance.
Please contact our office to schedule an appointment or ask any questions you may have. The R.N./Client Care Coordinator is available to meet with prospective clients and families to discuss their home care needs, all with no obligation.
Comfort Keepers is registered with the CT Department of Consumer Protection as a Companion Homemaker Agency #0000563 and is a member of the National Private Duty Association.
Thank you for your interest in Comfort Keepers and we look forward to helping your family.
