Wonderful! and from the heart.
Our experience when we first visited with [name removed] and [name removed] was very positive, they were both amazing. They took their time with us, we never felt rushed and we could feel that their heart was in it and they truly cared. The facility was clean and nice and they introduced us to many of their staff even their cook who has been there many years. This is a true blessing to find a facility that has people on staff that have been there a while.. I highly recommend Christina Place, the staff is wonderful. Call [name removed]for a tour - he cares!

Great experience
From the moment we toured the community, we felt the difference between this and the others. The staff truly cares about their residents and it shows. My father has had nothing but positive words about the care he's receiving and the friendliness of the staff. Speaking from the family's perspective, my sister and I feel like we're in the loop and have a team of professionals on our side. I would highly recommend this to anyone who asks.

New to Christina’s Place
My parents moved in Christina’s Place about 1 month ago. The staff and caregivers could not have been more helpful! Anytime I have an issue, [name removed] and [name removed] have bent over backwards to solve the problem! I can’t say enough good things about the care my parents are receiving! My parents feel safe and are settling in well .

In the last year, this place has changed staff and gone down hill significantly. We just got a price increase and are now way over most places that are far better. Better communication between the nursing staff and loved one's could definitely help, that's for sure.

Very compassionate and caring staff
My 97-year-old father had just been diagnosed with prostate cancer and we decided to look for a place for him to get help. He currently lives in Florida so we were making arrangements in Indiana where we live. I spoke with [name removed] at Christina Place several times because my dad was fluctuating between staying in Florida and coming to Indiana. [Name removed] was always patient with me and gave me the information I needed to make decision. We made arrangements to tour Christina Place and we were very impressed. My daughter said it actually reminded her of a hotel rather than an assisted living facility. We are happy we decided on Christina Place.

Great Community in a More Rural Setting
This is a very nice and smaller community. They have nice rooms, that are clean. The director is very friendly and good at answering all my questions. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones.
There is a visiting doctor that is able to come in and see my loved one. There is laundry service, housekeeping, and making beds as well as part of service. The staff are able to also provide assistance with bathing, hygiene, and dressing for my loved one.
Christina Place is good at notifying the family with any needs arise that my loved one needs, or concerns about my loved one's health.
Some of the activities available include trivia, movies, and more for the residents to choose from. The staff are good at taking my loved one down to watch the activities going on for a change of scenery.

A Special Place
Christina Place provides the kind of care that you want for your loved ones. It's a family atmosphere where residents are supported and treated with genuine kindness. I feel very safe with my mom living here. She loves it as well.

Sometimes over the weekends they are short handed, and our loved one enjoys the meals and dining. The rooms are very nice, and she is very happy. We would recommend this community to a family or friend.

Definitely put your mom here
We chose this facility because of the admissions lady. She was very nice and she was interacting with all of the residents, you can tell she really loves what she does. The studio we chose has been perfect size for my mother, they are bigger than what I expected. I haven't eaten here, but my mom is gaining weight so it must be good. We have been able to meet outside and visit with our loved ones, now that it is cold they are letting us inside. I would recommend.

Disappointed
It is grossly understaffed. It was expensive, The value did not come close to meeting the services. The room sizes and layout was good. The food was not good, small portions and not a lot of variety. They just did not have enough staff to meet the residents' needs.

Wonderful
When we brought our mom to the building it was a hard transition for the whole family!! The CSM and nurses was so kind and nice that it make it alityle more bearable. The staff are wonderful and my mom loves being there. Her apartment is beautiful and the building is very clean. She has been receiving therapy and is nice because they have an in house therapy group. She is getting stronger and healthier because of the caringness of everyone. Highly recommend!!!

Highly recommend
When I walked into this community it smelled wonderful. Very homey, staff greeted me at the door. All the residents where engaged in activity and looked very happy. When touring again no smells at all!! This community is beautiful especially the bistro. It has two court yards and massage therapy table that is accessible for residents. The exercise room has alot of equipment. They have their own in house therapy!!! I would highly recommend this community!!!! They have Aging in Place which means if your loved one declines they will not recommend to a long term care but will bring in third party providers to help. This is amazing just what I was looking for!!!
