It's frustrating when we go to visit, and they're in the middle of an activity that we know nothing about. Especially frustrating for my father's wife who pays for transportation to visit him for an hour every week. The staff is friendly, although some struggle to speak and understand English. The meals are very good and the Chef is open to suggestions. Care for my husband on the Assisted Living side is kindly given and adequate, although response time can be slow due to small staff and his need for two people to do transfers - bed to chair and chair to bed - with a lift. The only reason I give activities a 4 rather than a 5 is that the facility is small enough that it doesn't have the variety of larger communities and fewer residents to participate. The staff is friendly and receptive to suggestions and do their best to get folks involved.
